At Liberty Island!
So this past weekend my friends came from Utah and we got to do so much! We went to the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty! We also got to go to the Lion King on broadway. That was amazing!! We had a blast... we were laughing the entire time literally! In fact 2 guys from spain came up to us and said "We noticed you are laughing very much and we were wondering why you are laughing so hard?" Hahaha so we just told them that we were happy and having a good time!! They gave us the weirdest look so... we started laughing again, of course! Another funny story is we were on Liberty Island and taking pictures and it was really windy. Richie was taking a picture of Jess, Nikki, and I, and of course right before he takes the picture the wind blows my hair right in front of my face. So he looks at the picture and says "That one is perfect you can't even see your face"... Uh Really Richie? haha he then realized how that sounded and said "Oh man I did not mean it like that" I looked him and said "So as long as you cant see my face the picture is perfect right?" and we all just started laughing and now we are using that as one of hundreds of inside jokes!! It was funny and we really enjoyed the whole weekend!! Thanks for coming you guys! Love you!
First I want to tell you about my job. I am a nanny in New Jersey as said before. I take care of three adorable kids. The first is Matthew, he is 10 and is crazy funny. This kid can make me smile on the worst days. Whether its because I am homesick or have a headache or even when the girls are bloody murder screaming through the house! ha-ha He enjoys fencing and riding his bike the most. Then on the side he likes to read and have play dates with his friends! Then there is Kathryn, she is 8. She is got an attitude for sure and loves to try to manipulate me in any way she can. It never works but she still tries! She loves me to do her hair and makeup. She loves to sing and have play dates, then likes to watch Disney Channel on the weekends. Last there is Alexandra, she is six. ha-ha Me and Ally are always singing and she is always asking me to sing songs. Mainly Taylor Swifts Silent Night and Catch Me by Demi Lovato. She is always making me laugh to cause she has a funny attitude too. But when they all come together, its all laughing and screaming and more laughing and then some crying cause someone took something or hit someone! Ally and Kat have an intense, screeching, ear piercing scream... I don't like it at all! hahaha but Matthew seems to be the one causing them to scream. He is reading this as I type it and just laughs cause he knows its true!!! But I love them so much and I know this is what I am suppose to be doing in my life right now. These kids literally are my life right now and I would not change it for anything!!!! :)
